Competition rules

The securer will announce the beginning and the ending of the seasons on their website.

 

 

During the league seasons the league is made up from separate local tournaments that are run in different places. The securer provides gaming places by having the pubs and restaurants stipulate a contract. A registered player can play at any venue where a CPL tournament is being run. The tournaments in single venues can be held simultaneously with tournaments in other venues or separately. The securer will provide all the times and locations of all events on his website.

Every venue will be marked with the closest date of the game being played or with a cycle of the tournaments with the starting time of the tournament.

 

In every gaming venue a tournament game will run once a week. In case of a large interest in the game the securer can run more than one game per week. The secure is also allowed in the case of low interest of players (20), for functionary reasons or from a higher authority the announced local tournament can change to a different time and date or it can be move to a spare gaming place or it can be combined with another local tournament. For unexpected important situations the securer is allowed to cancel the event without a new event taking place at a later date. The securer will announce the cancelation of the event at the earliest known time on the website and at the place of event.

Every registered player has the right to participate in any local tournament which he chooses to play. The player can start to participate in any league tournament after he has registered with the league, which is made by an electronic device that is able to be scanned, and by paying a tournament fee, which is made by the securer of the local venues terms and conditions, to the maximum of 1000czk and its payable upon registration.

If there is a fee to be paid the securer will post it on his web site and will also announce the fee at the venue. If there is more than 10 participants in a game the securer can waiver the fee. The fees are not refundable even if a player has been suspended from the tournament.

 

By registering and paying a fee (or wavering the fee) the player has the right to participate in the tournament.

By registering and paying a fee (or wavering the fee) the player will receive playing chips (of no monetary value) to the amount of 2000 and 10 league points to add to the players total league score. By registering the player agrees that their personal data and their results will be published at the venue and on the league website. The games are played using non monetary value chips. The tournament director will not allow under any circumstances a wager to be placed at any tournament game. The only benefit to a player can be to receive league points or a prize for the first 3 places in the tournament.

 

The game begins with the direction of the tournament director. The tournament director according to contracts with the securer will supervise the game by observing the operational, competition and games regulations, announce breaks, register players to the game and fine the players, enforce game rules and order, keep record of the results and announce the winner and grant prizes to the first three players in the tournament. During the tournament the player is obliged to follow the operational and competition rules according to the Operational and Competition Regulations and the game rules according to the Games Regulations. The player can talk, eat, drink or smoke if he wishes at his own expense during the tournament. However the player must not disturb the course of the game or restrain the game.

            The tournament director can suspend any player from the tournament who violates the rules according to the Operational, Competition and Games Regulations and game rules. If a player is suspended the player may no longer participate in the game, they must leave the venue and they must return remaining chips to the tournament director. Such a player will loose any league points that had been awarded at the registration and is obliged to pay the tournament fee if condoned. The tournament director keeps a record of every suspension from the tournament and it will be on the web site of the league. If a player has been suspended for a serious breech of the rules or if they have been suspended for the third time the securer is entitled to suspend that  player for the league year. In this case the player`s participation is terminated and any points that they has been rewarded will be retracted. Such a player may register the following year league. The securer is also entitled in such a case to suspend the player from the league entirely, which means that the player will not be allowed to register to any league year in the future. The player may also be suspended from the league for a period of two or more league years.

The players who are ranked 16th or better at any local tournament will receive additional league points, over the scope of league the points that will be rewarded according to the scale below:

60 Players or more

 

40 – 59 players

 

Up to 39 players

 

 

 

The other players present at the tournament will gain 10 league points which will be rewarded when they register for the game. At the local tournament the players who are ranked in the first three are also awarded souvenir prizes which will be announced by the securer on the web site of the league and also at the venue before the beginning of the local tournament. Prizes from sponsors that have been given to the securer can also be awarded. In such a case the securer will announce the possibility of the sponsors` prizes on the web site.

1st player: The winner of the league

2nd player: The Runner Up of the league

3rd player: The Third Place getter of the league

 

            Furthermore the top three players of the league year are awarded souvenir prizes that were announced by the securer on the web site of the league before the league year started. Prizes from sponsors that have been given to the securer can also be awarded. In such a case the securer will announce a possibility of  the sponsors` prizes on the web site. The securer keeps records of the results of all local tournaments during the league year and he publishes the consecutive results on the web site of the league along with the names of the players and their registration number. The top three players of the league year will be notified by mail. The securer will announce the results of the league year on the official web site and the prizes that are being awarded in person. Furthermore he is entitled to announce the results and to award the prizes at a ceremony where the winners are obliged to come and claim their prizes or they can send a substitute in their place. In a serious case the player and the substitute may claim the prize in an alternate way and on an alternative date given by the securer.
